GRANT-IN-AID BY ST. JOHN AMBUALNCE (INDIA), HARYANA STATE CENTRE TO DISTRICT ST. JOHN CENTRES
FOR DISTRICT AMBULANCE COMPETITONS
Every year District Ambulance Competitions are being organized by the District St. John Centres in Haryana. Grant of Rs. 20,000/- to each district is being provided by the Haryana State Centre, Chandigarh.
FOR DISTRICT LEVEL TRAINING CAMP FOR BRIGADE OFFICERS AND VOLUNTEERS
Every year District Level Training Camp for 50-60 Brigade Officers and Volunteers are being organized by the District St. John Centres in Haryana. Grant of Rs. 15,000/- to each district is being provided by the Haryana State Centre, Chandigarh.
FOR FREE TRAINING OF FIRST AID & HOME NURSING TO 6,200 STUDENTS FROM 8TH TO 12TH STANDARD
First Aid & Home Nursing training to the 6,200 students from 8th to 12th Standard in Govt. and govt. aided Schools of each District of Haryana is being imparted. Under this policy 100% schools are to be covered for training by rotation in due course of time. It means that the training to the students of the respective school will be imparted either in First Aid or Home Nursing. All the expenses for training is borne by the St. John Ambulance, Haryana State Centre, Chandigarh.
Grant-in-aid for imparting First Aid Professional Training to 30 students of Universities, Colleges/Institutions from 2016-17 – FREE OF COST.
First Aid Professional Training is to be imparted to 30 students of each University (UTD) and 30 students of 10 Colleges/Institutions affiliated with the respective University concern is imparted by rotation through the District St. John Centres in Haryana free of cost. All the training charges are being met out of Youth Red Cross Funds remains with Indian Red Cross Society, Haryana State Branch against the budget provision (@ Rs.500/- per student).
